Working with [Beth] has been a saving grace for my HSC. The massive Year 12 workload can be extremely hard to balance alone, but with assistance, it can be much easier. Not only has it aided by assessments and classwork, but also been vital in learning time management! Having the opportunity to be given constant feedback and feel confident in my work with the assistance of my tutor [Beth] has been a great help. When I speak with my other HSC friends, their tutors only assist in one area and never provide feedback outside of their sessions via email and text, as Beth does. It is for this that I am so grateful! Maya has been fantastic to work with and guide all of my daughter’s work. When we first came to IB Successful my daughter was disinterested and not engaged at all with her school work. I have known Ellyse for the past few years as she has organised tutoring for each of my kids. She knows just how to pick the right tutor and ensure that your child is exceptionally well looked after. My husband and I had seen Ellyse’s name pop up on countless occasions via Facebook and were very intrigued by her unique approach to education and her tutoring services. She is an exceptionally experienced young woman, who from the moment of speaking with her I can say I am very glad to have met. It is wonderful to have a tutor who will not only provide support and guidance but also a very thorough and in-depth approach to all aspects of learning. Our tutor who was assigned by Ellyse is exceptional and the hour session she does with our son is very comprehensive. He feels comfortable to ask questions about ANY subject at all and his tutor will confidently provide him with guidance and content. Ellyse also issues a termly feedback report which shows the progress of the student. This has been an invaluable method of tracking our son’s phenomenal progress with Ellyse and her team! My son struggles largely with dyslexia and ADHD and when I heard that IB Successful was a service that offered tutoring for students who had learning difficulties such as my sons, I was very optimistic. After speaking with Ellyse on the phone she reassured me and gave me as much time as I needed to thoroughly walk her through the variety of needs my son had. When we were put with the lovely Renee as our tutor, I was very excited to get my son started! They hit it off in the first session and almost a year later, we have seen such exceptional development and progression. Renee is available to talk to me whenever I need and to send any questions through that we are having trouble with at home! She has such a kind heart and a fantastic manner in how she explains complex concepts. We are so excited to see what else can be achieved.

Where do I even begin? Ellyse came into our lives at a time where both my husband and I were very concerned about our son’s grades. My son has always struggled with his school work. Hence why I decided that we needed to find a tutor to get him on track. I was referred to IB Successful through a friend and slowly came to hear more about it amongst the community. After the first few sessions, Beth, my son’s tutor had a fantastic influence over not only his understanding in subjects such as maths that he had always struggled with. But also his time management, for the first time in his life he had started planning his afternoons and completing tasks days before they were due. Beth has been brilliant for not only my son but for our family. No longer do we have to constantly be reminding him to do work, instead, he gets it done without being prompted. I have been working with Ellyse and her team for the last few years and it has changed my entire schooling around. Most of my fellow peers are anxious and worried about preparation for exams and assignments, however with my tutor and Ellyse’s supervision and guidance I am more than confident and calm going into exams. I’ve had many tutors before but none have been like the tutor I have now. It motivates me to work harder and try my very best by knowing that I have my weekly session with my tutor. It is amazing also that I can text or email my tutor at any time I ever have a question or concern!!
